One white hair

fiddling with my hair just now, one came free in my hand. As it fell onto my brown cord trousers, I realised there was something different about it. The bottom half was (hennaed) auburn, but the top half was white!

Wow. Not grey, white. Must find a hairbrush and detangle the mop and see if there are any more in there. Not that I’m bothered by white (lots of good points, I’ll match Tim, henna will take even more vividly 😉 ) but I’d like to know if this is a one off or a start of a trend. Also adds impetus to my quest to work out what I’m going to be when I’m grown up – surely white hair must signal the start of that process? 😀

  1. I have silver ones that keep popping through but that doesn’t stop me from trying to dye my hair purple…I know age isn’t a sign of growing up and I don’t think grey/white/silver hair is either…I wonder what is? LOL

  2. Pah – i’ve had grey/white hairs since the week i found out i was pregnant with Fran! I refuse to wear them with pride though, hence the endless colour changes. Maybe one day i will go pink again 🙂

  3. I think most ‘older’ hairs are white, rather than grey. People just look grey because there’s a mixture of white and darker hair. I’ve got loads, I’m quite fond of them 😉

  4. Is this a white hair competition? Can anyone join in?

  5. You win babe 😉

  6. Just need a red hat… :santa:

  7. you are NOT growing a beard!

  8. Oh go on Jax, let him! Just for Christmas? 😉

  9. It’s not the white hair that dies that you have to worry about; it’s the ones that come to the funeral 😀
