  1. So we need to produce a few more emissions to warm it up a bit? Right, i’ll go and switch all the lights on….

  2. OFFS! That first paragraph completely skews the context. The next paragraph goes on about an underlying rise “almost certainly caused by man-made emissions …”.
    This is typical of the majority of news media at the moment. They spout meaningless statistics to support whichever bandwagon they’re currently on. In this case: unsubstantiated “speculation” and unsupported claims about what is “almost certainly …” true.
    It drives me mad!
