Not doing memes tonight

I’m really not in the mood. Sorry.

Been one of those days. There’s traffic on the roads again, and threatening cones on the hard shoulders, lurking for the time when we all think we’ve built enough leeway into our journeys. All my colleagues are now back from far flung corners of the globe, and the office has that slightly jaded feeling of ppl wondering what happened to the holidays they’ve been saving all year.

The children are back to school tomorrow. Big has been counting the days, Small will love it when he gets there, but boy is he going to be miserable when we wake him up. He’s definitely my boy, doesn’t do mornings.

Tonight I wanted to bead and crochet, so I combined the two. 400 beads in now Kirsty, it’s looking good. We watched another Criminal Minds, while I pondered on when geeky became cool enough that you need one in every cop show. Of course, the geek never gets to win the day, but they get to help now. Strange.

And with that note, to bed. G’night.

  1. Hi Cant see your comment on my blog for some reason but got it by mail? Hmmm need more practice on this blog lark. Anyway yes could i have the ring code please and i think i know how to add it too! Thanks Jenny

  2. Hope the children enjoy school today. I’m with Small, I hate mornings too – well, dark mornings anyway, the summer ones are ok.

  3. Hope today is better than yeserday was.
You could always ask your readers to come up with six weird things about you – I thought of that after I did it, and it would have been *much* easier than actually coming up with six myself – though perhaps also requires a certain level of bravery 😉

  4. I’m with Small, mornings are yuck! Hope he was okay once he got going. Beaded crochet sounds interesting, care to expand on that at some point or do I have to go Google 😉
As for geeks in cop shows, Law and Order has a geek who *always* cracks the case
