No good news.

This week I should be making a good news announcement, following booking in with my midwife this morning. Instead I spent the weekend having a miscarriage – three hours on a toilet on Sunday evening, and it’s all over again.

Yet to explain this one to Big – our relationship is strained atm anyway following my shift work and her uncertainty over who was where when. Am hoping that Small is still uninterested and therefore unconcerned about the whole sibling issue.

Only spark of hope here is that like the last time, this was merely (merely??) a failure to progress, so there’s still no reason to think that I can’t have a successful pregnancy in the future. Hohum.

eta oh, and the estate agent has just rung (twice) to say that the vendor of the house we were after has put the house back on the market. What a wonderful day this is turning into!

  28. Sometimes life is really shite. I am so sorry you’re in one of those times right now. When you’re ready to think about such stuff again, I can really recommend the Foresight programme (http://www.foresight-preconception.org.uk/) and/or chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture. They both helped me.

  29. awwww, Jax, I’m so sorry. This happened to me twice before Joy and then between Joy and Fergus. Just give yourself time to recover and and be nice to yourself. take care. lots of love,
(ps, now i understand and can relate to the memes and multiple mindless personality tests i have just done also 😉 )

  30. I’m just reading now.
Hugs to you both. Wishing you strength and healing and gentleness. x
