more carelessness

Except that today I’ve mislaid a child. 😉

Well, not really. I know where she is. With Barbara and co. I dropped her off at a coffee morning before lunch (which turned into a good discussion of home ed, I swear I need to make up a little card or leaflet with the most comment websites and stuff on it!) and I was supposed to be picking her up after tea, but Barbara just rang to say that they are having such a good time, and being so good, it seems a shame to split them up. So hopefully she’ll be dropping Big off in the morning, and hopefully she’ll have had some sleep this time! lol.

So what have I been up to? Well, I’ve filled in some forms. Put some stuff into envelopes. Tried to do some more work on my own website. Done loads of washing – lovely day for it. Completely failed to get Small to take a nap, so maybe he’ll go down at a reasonable hour tonight. He isn’t looking particularly tired yet though.

So absolutely nothing going on resembling home education here I’m afraid.

  1. Not here either – but it is “the last day of the summer holidays!” PMSL!!!

  2. Jax, let me know when Barbara leaves yours!!!

  3. Ah yes, the nothing achieved days. Sounds like you have had very little sleep in recent days, dont be down on yourself if you didnt catch the moon today.
When you say that Big is asking about religion, is it about jesus or has she been exposed to yahweh, buddha, allah, and krishna? It might be good for her to understand the jew->christian->islam development early on, so she can resist that anti-islam feelings that she will undoubtedly pick up soon.
