Moon at sunset

image

At 4 o clock.

It’s worth looking up.

Not been a good day, got a tummy bug so couldn’t take kids to swimming, so they were a bit disappointed. (And bouncing off the walls. )

Weird actually, as this morning I felt good and even managed a run. Haven’t been able to focus much though.

Did you know we’re less than a month to solstice? I’m finding the short dark days very hard. Wish we had a holiday to look forward to, preferably somewhere warm, but no way finances will stretch to it.

I’d been working on this business idea, was quite optimistic about it. Then I heard about the new EU VAT regulations and basically I just can’t see how I can afford to launch a business that complicated. Death knell for digital entrepreneurs I think, absolutely ridiculous that there’s no exemption. Really knocked my confidence, but hey, amazon gets to control the competition (and does anyone think they’ll actually pay more tax? ) so all is well with the world.

Children are sleeping. I should be. Good night.
