micro blogging

Am not managing to make it to keyboard to empty my brain except in very short bursts, so here’s a quickie one hand version of today before I fall any further behind.

Glorious sunshine, though I suspect the temperature didn’t get much above freezing. Note to self – 1 3/4 hours not enough to get these three children and myself out of the door when packed lunch required, washing to do and shower to take. Only about three minutes late today though so improving.

Excellent music session – Small nearly joined in but not quite sadly, as someone else said what he’d joined the circle to say before he had chance 🙁 He was tapping the rhythm on O’s building blocks though.

Lunch and afternoon session took place at a nearby village hall – Chinese new year meant the children made and paraded a rather fabulous dragon with very little adult intervention. They also wrote chinese characters on sky lanterns. And then home, where they are vegging out watching Batman – The Movie [1966].

Even that lead to education, with Small wanting to know how many countries there are in the world (google thinks 195) and spotting that the world leaders were speaking the wrong languages too 🙂

And now I must go get started on tea!
