lovely weekend

We’ve downsized and lost the big TV courtesy of freecycle, and the room feels so much better. Not least because the new pc is a lighter colour 😉 Yesterday was fun making stuff, and today we’ve been out pretty much all day at a party. The kids behaved impeccably, which was rather nice – the only concern was whether Small would tell me in time that he needed the loo, given that it was a strange (to him) house with 4 sets of stairs.

Still making progress on my elephant – I’ve done the whole body now 🙂 Did have to redo the last two rounds after Small managed to pull it off the hook and undo part of it when running around in excitement on the way out of the house 🙁

Right, dinner’s nearly ready, think I’ll sign off for a bit.

  2. ah, the curse of small children and half done crochet…..

  3. indeed. I’m building up to working on the head now, but there’s lots of increases and decreases, so it requires concentration that I’m not sure I’ve got to spare!
