Thanks Kirsty and James, we had a lovely day, and you both certainly seemed to be enjoying it too.

cos I like flickr and can favourite things!! lovely photos, like it as a montage

  7. Ok, I have added them to Flickr. I really don’t get why Flickr is such a great idea, that’s all.

  8. But that’s because you always like the most complicated option Tim (like MAMBO for example!!!!!)

  9. I don’t think Flickr is a simple option. I don’t like the idea that anyone in the world is allowed to use any public Flickr photo of mine without my knowledge, I don’t like that they, apparently, arbitrarily delete accounts and all the content of them. Amongst other things (and I don’t like Mambo).

  10. Flickr is also a hack fest waiting to happen. Alison’s brother has identified huge numbers of massive security holes. He tells Flickr they don’t do anything.
One particular favourite was that you could/can change the name of a group (that you owned – which might have thousands of members) so as to prevent any of the users having any flickr functionality.

  11. hmm. yes, and that is a concern. but… I like being abole to share. you could make all your photos friends and family – which then menas most people wouldn’t see them to hack. I am contemplating doing that anyway, and having only a few on dsiplay as it were, rather than my whole filing cabinet full.
    and thankyou tim

  12. DOn’t like Mambo – HOW long did you spend trying to talk me into rebuilding MP with it exactly????!!!!!!

  13. Not as long as you have spent rebuilding it. 🙂

  14. Lovely pics, and a gorgeous wrap 😀 YUM. What did you use to make it?
