job hunt update

My first interview will be towards the end of next week. Slightly oddly, the guy who will be interviewing thinks he remembers my name, but can’t put a face to it. Charming – given that he was my first chief programmer at the bank ;). Still I suppose it was nearly 7 years ago now. Small world, programming in Sheffield it would appear.

  1. Should we wish you good luck, or not? I’m not really sure what you want the outcome to be? But hope you feel OK before during and after 😉

  2. Oh (((Jax))) hope the outcome is whatever you need it to be. Thinking of you xxx

  3. All the best from me too, whatever the best is – hope the interview goes well in any case.

  4. I hope you get the result/hours you want Jax.

  5. Thinking of you! xxxxxx

  6. tried to write comment by keep getting anti-spam page

  7. OK got a comment through. Interesting anti-spam page, tells you to fill in form below – but no form below, and then says that if you cant see the form then send email to email address below – but no email address below.
I got the comment through by putting a valid email address, must be something new for you.
    Anyways, the comment was
    “not Barry???”

  8. The answer is, nope, the one before him. Baz is still at the bank, and I’m in touch with him – asked him for tips on revising my java!
I did put a new anti-spam measure on last night to test it, hadn’t realised it was causing problems. Joy.
