It's your fault

“I was quite happy with the idea that kids went to school and that what you had to do was pick the best school, then you questioned whether they had to go to school at all, and now I question every bloody thing”

Paused while I was typing, and he added “and none of it stands up to examination. Which is the real problem.”

Dunno whether that’s a laugh or cry moment really.

I’m off to bed. Camp blog tomorrow.

  1. laugh and cry, maybe. Kwym though, plenty of things that had never been questioned before came under scrutiny after we’d questioned education. It can only be a good thing, though, can’t it? I hope! Looking forward to your camp blog 🙂

  2. Hooray you’re back!
Yes, it’s a pain in the proverbial isn’t it, once you start questioning things.

  3. Teach a man to think and who knows what might happen. 😉

  4. I feel like that often. Plenty of kids are actually quite happy at school and sometimes I wish I hadn’t looked beyond the surface. But it’s too late; the box is open.
Look forward to your camp round-up 🙂

  5. Hi Jax

    Ta!

  6. Oops – I see you have already done that! Thanks.
