It's Friday again?

How did that happen?

We have done stuff. It’s been a quiet week though, and I swear it was only Tuesday last time I looked.

More drawing for me and the littlies – they are really interested in exploring the art stuff I’m getting out for them, and it’s great to work alongside them with it.

Lots of learning to read type activities with Smallest – songbird phonics (absolute bargain at the book people Children’s Fiction
well worth exploring their site, and right now there’s an offer of £6 off orders of £40 with code PAYDAY (yes that is an affiliate link)) and some great Miles Kelly phonics books that have stickers in. In fact, I found some more in poundland, and when I get my act together and get pictures of them I’ll be running a giveaway. You have been warned 😉

The usual playing and walking and clubs and swimming – Smallest bounced out of her lesson tonight and announced I can swim! This was then backed up by her teacher confirming with Big, so happiness and big grins all round.

Tigerboy had his pre-notschool appointment this week, he basically didn’t stop talking for the entire time he was in there, so the doctor was left in no doubt that he’s hitting his developmental targets 😉 He is apparently still tracking the 9th centile line for height, but has gone up a couple of lines for weight. I’m not quite sure how he’s achieved that, as he doesn’t look any different shape wise, but he definitely feel heavy if you pick him up. Some queries around potty training – we’ve tried several times now with resounding lack of success, and GP was worried about what would happen at nursery. Not an issue as there’s no nursery in his future, but I’m reasonably sure we’ll crack it at Kentwell this summer. Which then led on to a Kentwell conversation. I need to check his clothing still fits him, and I know Smallest needs a t least a new coat, I’m having new everything, and Small needs new page hose.

I’d probably better get started on all of that then!

Looks like I’m going to have my work cut out for me. Wonder if Smallest is ready to learn to sew….
