Apparently explaining to the idiot parked across my drive, and oblivious to me sitting in my car in the middle of the road flashing at him that I’d quite like him not to park there in future so that I can drive onto my drive rather than next doors makes me a snob.
Hm. Suppose there are worse things I could have said.
In shades of Halloween long gone though, I am now slightly nervous as to whether something nasty is going to happen to either my front door or my car 🙁

What? you want t o park in front of your own home??? silly idea! How snobby 😉
We had a similar incident last week only in our case it was our next door neighbour and he was doing it on purpose because the night before DH parked on the road and not the drive due to fog and darkness. We ended up calling the police so I guess we must be snobs too 😉
I once moved my car in front of the next terrace along to accommodate a moving in van for the people on the other side. The man whose house i parked outside of slashed my tires. 🙄

Which is kind of counterproductive, really, as how are you supposed to shift your car from in front of his house then? lol
Our first house was a terrace and parking spaces were vigrously defended against encroachment from either side. That fact our truck was about the same width as our house caused a few grumbles… 😉
Grin. Oh the joys of terraces 🙂 I do miss it actually. I loved being flanked by neighbours at exactly the same stage of life as us. We all moved in driving fiat pandas, moved up to escorts, had a baby and moved out!
rofl – we’re quite lucky in that one of our next door neighbours don’t have a car and the other keeps his in a garage overnight. Plus we’re at the end so have quite a few places to park, plus a street opposite. James does get annoyed when someone parks in front of our house though.
