I know that area well, it does flood badly. That football pitch around the corner spends nearly half the year submerged doesn’t it?At least you have some ready-made ideas for the name for the house:

It’s the idyllic and Rochdale (331st out of 409 best places to live as a family) in the same sentence that is confusing me.
Well, anywhere is better than Reading.
