Just getting to Tesco from here. Hornsbridge was filling up nicely a couple of hours ago.

It isn’t a tank, it is merely a very, very large, ocean-going six wheel drive SUV.

Yes, I’ve been in one, stood in the back of one whilst we drove across a lake (if you can call it driving). That mesh bit on the back corner actually covers the top of the exhuast, so if you’re riding in the back on a chilly day, stand there.
Oh – and you can mount a gun on the roof of the cab. Only a machine gun but that would do, wouldn’t it?I had the good luck to drive one of these beasts in the Army – it is the most exciting vehicle I have EVER driven – and I’ve driven a few in my time. (Stalwart, Unimog, Chieftain tank etc – all great fun!!)

Me i want 1/35 scale plans of ALVIS STALWART MK2, please.actually it was a ex army vehicle used to deliver fuel and parts to tanks in north germany to keep out the russians
