Again.

I even miss getting wet and cold hands failing to felt a hat.

  1. Just caught up on all your Kentwell posts. I miss it too ;~). Your son looks amazing as a page and he’s a good sport – not every boy would dress up like that even for history. we went camping for one night only, by the beach. I’ve not slept in a tent for over 20 years! I couldn’t sleep at all tbh. I was wondering if you take some sort of folding bed or mattress to sleep on? My days of sleeping on the ground (even with a foam mat and a blanket beneath me) are over I think.

    1. I use a self inflating mat, they’re really very good as long as you have a decent one. Tim used his in preference to our bed when he had a slipped disc! They’re very thin, but extremely effective.

      1. Thanks, I’m going to look into one of those for next time.
