I did it! #30dayplan

There’s been this thing hanging over me, this paperwork that wasn’t done, that needed to be done, that terrified me and gave me sleepless nights, yet the thought of picking up and completing made me almost physically sick…

Today I did it. I finished it, I got in the car, I delivered it. I didn’t feel particularly good about it at the time, but as the day went on, I felt lighter and lighter and lighter. By now I’m floating. (Though that could be the beer.)

I’ve learnt something from this. Not that it is a good idea to do things before they become enormous monsters that rob you of a good night’s sleep. But that it’s a good idea to work out what your strengths and weaknesses are, and play to them. So in future I’m going to consider paying someone else to do my paperwork. Though this of course will rely on me earning enough to pay someone else…

Anyways. It’s been a day of achievements. Small by other ppl’s standards, but enormous for me. And that makes me happy.

  1. Well done! I find often it’s just a matter of getting started. But it takes such an effort to start… Happy Easter.

    1. @Midlife Singlemum Thank you. Yes, it’s amazing how many things we can find that need to be done instead of that one thing that’s hanging over us…

    1. Thanks Tbird 🙂

  3. Well done 🙂
I always found it easier to earn some money doing something I could and then pay someone else to do some thing I couldn’t. We’re all good at different things, why fight it!!

    1. Thanks Helen, I think I must put my thinking cap on on the earnings 🙂
