I am not superwoman.

I have done washing, but it’s still in the machine.

I have fed my family, but it was by bringing in take out.

I have written for my new blog at technology solved, but I haven’t sorted out email subscription for it yet.

I’ve read half a book, but I was supposed to read it all.

And do you know what?

I don’t care about all those things I haven’t done.

I care that I have managed to read a book to Smallest. That I’ve cuddled with Tigerboy. That I’ve listened to Small and spoken with Big.

I care that I am making slow inroads in building a business that I can believe in, that we can do from home, that will work around our family and home education.

I care that I managed to get myself showered and dressed, even if it wasn’t til this afternoon.

I am not superwoman. And I don’t care.

  1. Sorry, Not stalking you. Just went to my reader as you popped in! But you are superwoman by doing those things with your kids and making them a priority. Everything else will wait fortunately / unfortunately whichever way you look at it! If you could wave a magic wand and it all go away – then we’d really be impressed!

  2. Sound like Supermum to me x

  3. Setting up and running a business from home, home educating three children, and a baby, and running the household…. I’m not sure even Superwoman could do all that.

  4. I’ve found this post so encouraging because I am also not superwoman but that’s ok.
