How awfully quaint

“……The property has maintained some period features including windows, …..”

from estate agents particulars.

How quaint, how novel, good Lord, fancy that. Windows! And there was me thinking they had gone completely out of fashion.

  1. Blimey, they must have been desperate!

  2. Hi! Not property related at all but wanted to ask if you’d thought any more about the recorders I saw your comments on Stellas blog and just wanted to say the coloured yamahas aren’t quite as good as the 300 series, but still play really nicely. So for Big funky colour may be more important than the slight improved performace which wouldn’t make too much difference to her in the first instance. Price wise I think the coloured one is about £6 and the normal 300 series is about £10 the aulos 205a is probably the best one and costs about £12.

  3. we have the aukos as i have perfect pitch, and it was the best cheap one for me.

  4. That’s useful to know from both of you, thanks 🙂 I think I might take her to a music shop and let her choose!

  5. Of course Windows is passe, Linux is obviously the way to go. 😉
