Four weeks in.

Can’t quite believe I’ve been a mum of four for four weeks. Milestones are racking up and sailing by almost without me noticing. The first 24 hours, first week, next one will be first month. It feels like I just can’t keep hold of these early days, they are slipping away from me.

Tigerboy met lots of my friends this weekend at a party and then his first history day. (I shall be quizzing him on what he learnt about the crusades later ๐Ÿ˜‰ ) It was a lovely weekend – I particularly enjoyed the part where my friend brought me breakfast in bed *and* took the baby away so I could eat it! We got to spend lots of time sitting in the sun and by the end of the day he wasn’t yellow

any more. It was good to get a glimpse of the baby underneath if you know what I mean.

Weekend didn’t end too brilliantly when Small was very sick in the car on the way home and then Big anounced she’d lost her phone. Thankfully it was a one off vomit, and the phone has been located at friend’s house.

Today has been variable, though I did enjoy a walk down to the beach with my littlies. Especially as they both slept through it ๐Ÿ˜‰

But now they need my attention, so I need to be off. Goodnight all.

  1. It sounds like things are going remarkably well. I can’t believe it’s already been four weeks either.
