It’s been tough all round. Tim and I both working full time, both an hour away. Sarah getting here every morning by 7.30 and staying until one of us got home, four children in close quarters for a week. Very tough.
Big had a day out off the path, but that made for a very long day for her, dragged out of bed before 7, not home til 8 that evening. I think it contributed to her general exhaustion, and we’ve had a tough couple of evenings of general whinginess and tears. On the plus side, she’s had a fun day out today, she tells me, and she’s very much enjoyed chocolate fossils, and playing with her friends.
We can’t keep this up for long, though, none of us, although I’m a bit lost as to what we’re going to do next. School doesn’t open on Monday (didn’t think it would, no matter how optimistic the bursar was last weekend 😉 ) but I’ve sent the form in for them to have two days each when it does start up.
And to top it all off, I’ve got this surge of creativity, ideas coming out of my ears for things I want to do, websites, programming, stuff around the house, stories, things to make. Just where am I supposed to find the time and energy???

Somehow these things always come along to clutter our heds when we seem to ahve the least time to actually do anything about it. Hope you have a relaxing weekend

it’s always either all the time but no money , or money and no time! Then it sounds as if you need to invest in a tardis Jax.

Sounds really hard work – hope you all have a restful weekend.
The kids have felt it, especially the last couple of days and it has been tiring. But it has also been fun and on the whole they have got along fine. I’ve enjoyed myself and so have my kids. We’ll work something out when I next get to actually talk to you.
