Ebay/ paypal rant

OK, so why do payments listed as instant on paypal turn out to be credit cards??????

Grrr. That means that the two items I posted yesterday *haven’t* been paid for as I’m not set up for credit cards, and don’t want to be – it says as much clearly (but obviously not clearly enough!) in my listings. Paypal is not worth the hassle – but now that nochex charges to receive money it isn’t much better. 🙁

Oh, and what do you think?

btw, someone mentioned eggpay to me today as a free way of paying online, don’t know if you’ve heard of it

  5. Yes, I’ve heard of eggpay, used it in fact several times. But I’ve decided to go with Natwest Fastpay, and I’m also going to branch out and use Ebid rather than Ebay (I know that I might not get very good prices, but the lower fees will offset that). So you don’t like the look then? 😉

  6. Funny-looking slightly fuzzy trees you’re standing in front of there Jax 😉

  7. As far as I can tell using Paypal is very very risky…
