Disappointed by the select committee

Dear Jax

The Chairman has asked me to thank you for your e-mail of 26 January, about the consultation on home education. There are no plans by the Committee to hold an inquiry but I shall ensure that the points which you make are borne in mind in relevant work by the Committee.

Yours sincerely

Kenneth Fox

Clerk

Children, Schools and Families Committee

I wonder what it takes to get the committee to hold an inquiry. I wonder what holding an inquiry achieves. I wonder if there is any protection for the individual in the system of government we have atm, there certainly doesn’t appear to be any way to get your voice heard.

Bleargh.

(my letter was pretty much the same as my letter to my MP I think.)
