Day 1. Again.

This week has not been the week I planned, mainly because I’ve spent two days rebuilding my website.

However, today, I did start by not picking up my phone or looking at twitter. Instead, I went for a run, put the washing through did yoga and played with children.

It wasn’t perfect, but it was a much better start to the day.

I tried to keep my ranting online down to a minimum. I did more tweaking to my website, and thought hard about what I want to be when I grow up 😉 I explored Skillpages and PeoplePerHour and updated my LinkedIn profile.

(Please note, if you want a website, don’t go through PeoplePerHour to buy it from me. Drop me a comment, ping me through the contact form or catch me on twitter, either as liveotherwise or colneis.)

And now I’m going to take the small children to bed with a good book. Or two. Small is particularly taken by Doodlemum, which was part of our first parcel of books from Two Roads Books. (I won their competition for a copy of everything they publish this year. More than a bit thrilled by that.)

Sooner or later I’ll get to Day 2. Right?

Thank you. The other half did the header, he’s rather more visual than me. I’ve been tweaking the layout though 🙂

  2. The new look is great – love it. My life is series of Days 1, 2, and 3. I can never seem to get past Day 3 before having to start again. Warmer weather helps I think so it could get easier for you. Good luck with Day 2. xx
