Cor, haven't we got posh friends?

Just registering on a family seeking au pair site (don’t ask) and got to the bit where it asks if we would provide references. Mind blank for a moment as I pondered, then suddenly realised that I know a couple of doctors, teachers, management types, not to mention any number of successful small business owners. Didn’t we all ought to be proud of ourselves 😉

  1. I have to ask. Is that a serious option for September?

  2. Dunno. I registered last night, I’ve had 6 queries through the site already, two within minutes of registering, and one from one of the three ppl I was looking at before I registered.
Maybe not for the beginning of September, but possibly we could dot and peg for a couple of weeks if we had something on the way. Our difficulty is that we don’t have anywhere in the house to put a live in, so we are actually looking for someone to live out.

  3. I’ve wanted one for years but Tony is too ???? to have someone in the house LOL! Didn’t realise you could have a live out.

  4. yes, it sounds like a brilliant idea, hope you do find someone who will live out and be happy about the home ed stuff too.

We want one too but have nowhere to put one. Can I have the link anyway as its just occurred to me some of them like to live out.

  6. Would also like the link please – we have space but not money (and I have no idea of the costs of these things) but wouldn’t mind investigating as an option.

  7. Great au pair and New au pair so far. But none of you are allowed to pinch anyone I’ve got my eye on!

  8. I’m a business owner but I’m not sure I’d call it sucessful at the moment. Seeing you tomorrow?
