Content and calm video competition – sponsored post.

Would you fancy winning a family holiday to a luxury villa in Greece courtesy of Simpson Travel or an all-expenses paid trip to a top UK family attraction? Personally I’d go for the villa. I love Greece. Wonder if it has a pool.

Does your child have natural flair in front of the camera? (Um, no.) Do you think they could be the next children’s TV presenter? (The mind boggles.) Are they a Judith Chalmers in training? (Dunno, does she throw wobblies if it all goes horribly wrong?) If so this competition will be perfect for them! (And you probably won’t have to spend a couple of hours clearing a space to take a video, will you?)

We’re looking for 10 TravelBug Reporters who will set off on an all-expenses paid adventure with their family and report back, sharing their insider tips with all the Content&Calm fans out there as we create a series of online travel guide videos. (Although I really fancy this.)

For your chance to win, simply create a short fun video of your child sharing their favourite holiday memories, its highlights and funny stories. To help you on your way we’ve suggested 6 simple questions but feel free to be as creative as you like! Why not shoot your film “on location”, get your child to share their foreign language skills or dress up in the favourite holiday outfit?! (I’d advise against mimicing Mastermind, it’s been done before 😉 )

Want to see what we got up to? It’s here. Or it will be, when I’ve finished downloading a video converter so that I can squish the current 178MB down to the acceptable 10MB for the competition. Sigh. (There is another blogpost forthcoming, entitled “how not to vlog”.)

Want to take part? Take a quick video of your child chatting about their holiday, and upload it to the app here, then it’s just a case of a three line whip to vote.

(This post is sponsored. I may even have bribed my children, some of them with chocolate…)
