Comment is free: Can anything be done?
Two thirds of them want to know how their voices can be heard. Many of them say that they are prepared to take action on this issue – writing or protesting or organising – in a way they have never done before, but they want to know whether anything they do has a chance of being effective.
The one warning here is that we cannot get carried away. There are a lot of us, but we are not well connected yet, there are several campaigns but I think that raises more of a risk of fragmenting support. We do need to get the word out though, and that’s what I’m going to be concentrating on.

Thanks for that, I’m one of the 150+ who emailed her, so it’s good to see that it’s been noted.
Nothing back from the Murphy bloke yet, but I suspect he got somewhat inunndated the other week 😉
Yup, me too on the 150+ – just commented to that affect on her new story!
the Establishment is very busy making sure activism doesn’t disturb the coziness. the Internet will be of great value but caution is always a good idea.
it has been observed that power is not readily relinquished by those who hve it, so cleverness, persistence, patience, are the key.
