Good weekend 🙂

Thoroughly enjoyed getting a spontaneous round of applause at the party when I turned up in a dress! 😆 And we were there before 7pm 😉 had a pretty good run down in fact, even if there was this odd couple behind us for a bit flashing lights and so on 😀

Never ever seem to find the time to talk to everybody at these events, I’d say it would work better if we spent a week, but I know from experience it doesn’t make all that much difference. Did enjoy the bits of time with various ppl here and there though. Particularly enjoyed introducing Tim and Tony and saying “kyokushin” and leaving them to it, was fun.

Lots of great food, and good company, what more can you want?

The following morning I felt rather shaky – Small had slept through in his own bed, with only one screaming fit, which I thought was 5.30, but Ros tells me was 3.30 (sorry Ros 🙁 ) but then Big was up bright and early shortly after 7 and determined everyone else would join her. I *needed* more sleep, so Tim got up and dragged her off to breakfast, and Small crawled in with me for an extra hour or so. Lovely.

Loafing around at the portico was very relaxing – occasionally I remember that I don’t really spend all my spare time with these ppl and it seems a bit odd to feel so comfortable with them all, but hey, you’re a large part of my life, so in reality, it works. Blogging is good for the socially inept it would appear. (I refer to myself here before anyone thinks I’m casting aspersions.)

Today is our group meet, and as I have the key, and as Tim remembered to remind me to move car seats last night, I’m planning on being on time. So must go chase children into clothes and get lunch sorted. See you all later!

  1. I was awke anyway! Read my blog- I was more concerned for you, other peoples crying babies have no ill effects on me 🙂

  2. I’d just like to clarify the first paragraph. We just turned off the A road onto a windy B road and Jonathan was saying “are you sure this is the right road” and I was just trying to reassure him that it was, when I spotted a familiar car in front, and we waved lots 🙂

  3. dress was very glam 😉
great to see you all again 🙂

  4. You looked very swish in your dress (seen haricots pics) and I love the pic of Big and Small in the car 🙂
    I’m socially inept! 🙂
