Can't think *where* today has gone 😉

Big stopped at Barbara’s last night, which meant I got a fair bit of revision in last night, then had only one child to ignore this morning 😉

Exam went well, yes, really. Slightly surreal to finally take it after postponing it so many times! Quite chuffed with the result, can you tell? Shaking slightly afterwards, wandered off to wibble round Dunelm Mill shop then Lembas – finally stocked up with Moltex! Can I say I’ve started preparing for Hesfes now then? 😉

Lovely lunch at Barbara’s, then back to spend some time trying to get to grips with not having to revise. I’m honestly not quite sure where the afternoon/ evening went. Small seemed totally unbothered by the fact that both Big and I had been absent for most of the day, which is good. I know that Big did some stuff this afternoon – she cannibalised part of our dome straws and built herself a kite. It didn’t fly, so lots of experimentation working out why, which I was rather impressed by. And lots of running round the garden like a loon, which Small enjoyed as well.

Right, now I’ve got two days to get sorted for going away, as I want to be away right after the rush hour Friday morning. I think I’ll start by going to bed to catch up on the sleep I missed last night. 🙂

  1. just to say *if* you want to come down on Thursday and stay at ours overnight so that we can get to Charmouth before the rain on Friday you’re very welcome. Have made the same offer to Merry as I think she might be in sick-Portico-germ-avoiding mode but hey, the more the merrier, we do have space, and if it will help for Friday the offer’s there.
