I’m in a field, wireless networked. The sun is shining, children are about, I’ve got lots of friends to talk to.

It could be better – it has rained, the loos are, well….let’s not go there. But overall, it’s good.

Doubt I’ll get to blog much, but look forward to a full update when I get back.

  1. Good to hear from you. Hope the sun keeps shining 🙂

  2. so are you stilll there, or decamped like some of the other puddlers??

  3. Just spoke to Alison, who along with Jax, Joyce and Joanna are still there and planning to stick it out. It rained over night but has been dry today though a bit misty. Young Violet was suggesting that everyone donated some money to employ toilet cleaners….this really indicates how *bad* those bogs are!!1

  4. I knew caravans had the edge over tents – they fail on cost, size, ease of transportation, cost of storage etc etc etc – but you do have your own loo! 🙂
Hope it stays dry for you to pack up the tent!

  5. actually i think joyce shoud have 2 portaloos, use of which is entirely reliant on how spotless you leave it and your willingness to empty it. it would work a treat!!

  6. Am very impressed you managed to blog from there!

How I Can Help

After 20+ years of home educating my four children (two now adults), I’ve gathered a wealth of experience that I’m passionate about sharing. Beyond blogging and guest writing, I offer several services designed to support families on their home education journey.

Resources to Support Your Home Ed Journey

I’ve put together a collection of resources that I’ve genuinely found useful over the years—things that have actually made a difference in our home education. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to freshen things up, there’s something here to help. These are the tools, guides, and materials I’d recommend to a friend, because they work.
