and that is all folks.

  1. I read your comment. I apologize for “stealing” bandwidth. I copy over alot of photos from everywhere and post a ton of my own when putting together my blog. I look at it more as a compliment than theft. Take care. Cassi

  2. Thanks Cassi – if it were one photo on one place I might look at it as a compliment, but when I’m reading through my stats and the list of pictures hit by referrals from other sites is as long as my arm, it feels more like abuse. Yours was by no means the only use of a picture from my site that I tracked down just today.

  3. Nightmare. Hope you work it out soon. Spam posts seem far worse than spam comments somehow.

  4. Yes, I’d agree with that. And happening so soon after the credit card incident, it made me very nervous.

  5. Jax, do you have blog by email set up for you blog? The posts looked very much like spam email. What I thought when I saw it first was whether you had blog by email set up and someone had managed to spam that ‘secret’ email address? It automatically publishes anything received in that account. Just a thought.

  6. I get shedloads of spam through in comments on my blog – currently 130-odd need spamming – really must get a spam blocker sorted.

  7. Already disabled it Chris as the same thought occurred to me.

  8. what a bugger jax. hope it gets sorted. looking forward to seeing you at kessie. i am sorry but i tagged you and Tim

  9. ah yes, i had to search, and i found small – a bit odd someone using your photo?

  10. don’t know why, but that photo is very popular. Another one I found being used (today) is the shot of Nick Stokes with a moustache? Can’t say as I understand it.

  11. i have no idea how to look and see if any of mine used. would be easy to do from flickr

How Helen? Flickr doesn’t have trackbacks for individual photos, does it. I think it is a real oversight. You should be able to see any specific pages linked to an individual photo.

  13. no, i mean it wuld be easy for someone else to use my flickr photos, not that i can track back

Ah yes, which is why they should have trackbacks.

  15. Well boo and hiss. Did you ever figure out what happened?
