  1. Um, blogging – blogging has given me the chance to connect with people!
I remember the first time I went to a craft festival, someone (someone I consider well known in the knitting community) asked me about one of my kids then announced she read my blog!
    I felt so proud lol

  2. I have just blog for a year and met some good bloggers for chat and friendship.

  3. Blogging has given me a community of people that understand sharing our journeys whatever they may be. I met some awesome folks & my blog helps me capture moments that I might otherwise have forgotten – the best bit is when someone says, yes I feel that way too!

  11. This is my first week of blogging, but so far I am really enjoying it, its giving me something to focus on and work towards, which always makes me feel so much more motivated!

  12. Blogging helped me feel less alone when I first had my daughter straight after fnishing Uni. It also gave me a place to write my way through my depression, which helped a surprising amount.

My little blog about my garden and wildlife started out as just a personal space to scribble and add photos to but I have gradually started to get followers and I love the fact that people share my interest in my little piece of the outdoors

  14. Books. Books. And more books… 😉
But seriously, blogging has introduced me to more people that I actually relate to, more than I could ever have met in real life because I’m far too shy / socially anxious. But meeting bloggers in real life has happened, and wasn’t scary, and they ‘knew’ some of me and I ‘knew’ some of them so a lot of introductory small talk gets ripped away and you can talk about your shared passions without worrying whether the other person thinks you’re utterly mad, because you already know that they *know* you’re utterly mad. And so are they. In a good way 😉

  15. Tweeted. Probably facebook shared too but I’ll double check that before commenting!

  20. Blogging has given me a lot of confidence and helped me grow as a parent. It also been INVALUABLE for me meeting fantastic ladies all over the place who I now call friends 🙂

  21. I have only been blogging a couple of months (so a newbie!) but it means I can use my ‘adult brain’ again once the kiddies are in bed! It is also a virtual memory box of my kiddies growing up, which they are doing far too quickly!!

I no longer blog, but I used it as an escape when i was unemployed, it was good to be able to work on something and was a release from the mundane life, plus i love reading other blogs, taking a peek into stangers’ world!

  31. The best thing blogging has done for me (is going to sound utterly bonkers but is very true) is give me a circle of people who I can call friends and within that circle I have found friends who I think I will always be friends with even though we live a long way from each other and we don’t see each other often! 🙂
