  1. I can help with the cooking bit and definately bore you for hours on countries outside of Europe.
But why not start with some more exploring in Europe to start? You are less than an hour from East Midlands airport and BMIbaby fly to Ireland, Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium, Switzerland, and Czech Republic. Or take on the slightly longer drive and go from Stansted to hundreds of places for ludicrous prices. (We’re off to Sardinia for £25 return, including all taxes)
Travel helps with learning another language as well, you can see the reason for it all around [which is sometimes difficult in our own country], and if you chose your destination to match your chosen language, you get lots of opportunity to practice it.
    Good luck!

  2. I’ve interrailed through Europe, so I’ve visited quite a few countries there, been to France lots of times (French is the only other language that I have even a passing aquaintance with). I’d quite like to go to Spain and learn Spanish, but I’d also like to get out of Europe a little, having never done that yet 🙂
So are you going to do yours?

  3. Alright alright! I’ve done some lists….
