And now, over to Bradford

Just had a lovely weekend visit from Marcus and Michelle. We visited Jorvik on Saturday. Which I thought was very disappointing. I have heard so much about it, but I am afraid I thought it was little more than a poor fairground ride coupled with a mediocre museum and a high price. However, the children all had an excellent time.

By contrast, the National Media Museum in Bradford, which we went to on Sunday, and is free, was excellent. Our smalls have been before, but there is tremendous amount to see and do.

C read the news.

Big and Small met a Dalek.

Jax met Morph. (This is as good as it gets! Apparently)

And on Monday, we went to the Royal Armouries in Leeds. Also very good, also free. Lots of armour and guns and stuff. Good cafe and an empty Starbucks nearby.
