An experiment

Big wants to do an experiment, so Tim and I have devised one. I have three jars (unfortunately not identical, but hopefully similar enough that it won’t throw it too much) and we’re going to put the same amount of water at the same temperature in each jar. Then we’ll wrap one in foil, one in black paper and leave one open, and stand all three of them in the sun.

Big’s prediction is that the one wrapped in black will heat up most – apparently someone told her that black absorbs heat 😉

And if I can find a sundial printout, we’ll do that as well.
