Always take the weather with you

If I could choose the weather, I’d go for sun with breezes during the day, the occasional late afternoon or early morning shower, and most of the rain we need overnight. Would that be wrong? Maybe a very occasional storm, glorious in it’s majesty, but I’d like to be able to go out during the day without having to carry rain gear, extra layers and suncream.

Listening to songs tonight that remind me of later years at university, time before family and children. Time when I was going to change the world if I didn’t save it, but life crept up on me, and now the best I can do is raise children the best I can without damaging the world any further. I’d like to tread lightly while finding a way to make my children’s lives less difficult but all I can do most days is make it to the evening without falling apart.

Lots of time to think atm. I will come back refreshed I promise you 🙂

  1. Have a lovely holiday.

    1. thank you. We tried.

  2. Years ago my Dad was working in Singapore and we went out during the Easter holidays one year. While we were there the days were long and too hot for a blue skinned Scot like me. But every night somewhere between 3 and 5 am there would be a torrential downpour of rain complete with thunder and lightning which certainly made the jet lag more interesting.
Hope the time away has been good for you Jax.

    1. Singapore is somewhere I would like to visit. I feel a little different after the break, but mainly like I need to get my backside in gear and catch up with myself!
