Strongman winner claimed benefit, I mean, fancy thinking you would get away with that? …….still, it does seem to have taken them quite a while to work it out.
In further (estate agent related) idiocy:
There is one particular agent round here who frequently uses the expression “often targeted by family buyers and professional buyers alike”, now that is merely silly and annoying, but when the same agent goes on to say things like “An executive style brick built detached house set to this envious corner plot ” it becomes clear that he/she is a complete prat. (I think the word they were looking for was “enviable”, still a poor choice of phraseology, but it would be in English, at least).
