Achievements of the week.

Making it to Devon.

Making it back from Devon.

Not throttling children at any point during above two achievements 😉 (although I came really close when we were parked on the M42, I was trying to listen to the traffic report to work out how long we were going to be parked for and Big chose that moment to wake up her peacefully sleeping brother).

Finally finishing the crochet for the hoodie, now all I have to do is find some buttons and sew it up. And to answer naturallynice I now have this on my hook 🙂

Crying over my very grown up girl having a rideon part in a nativity play.

Assisting in the cooking of a communal meal – I am terrified of cooking for my own family generally speaking, so the courage required for going into the kitchen to assist in general, while fully directed by Helen is not to be underestimated.

Going to bed at a reasonable time tonight 🙂

How I Can Help

After 20+ years of home educating my four children (two now adults), I’ve gathered a wealth of experience that I’m passionate about sharing. Beyond blogging and guest writing, I offer several services designed to support families on their home education journey.

Resources to Support Your Home Ed Journey

I’ve put together a collection of resources that I’ve genuinely found useful over the years—things that have actually made a difference in our home education. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to freshen things up, there’s something here to help. These are the tools, guides, and materials I’d recommend to a friend, because they work.
