A Mouse's Tale, My First Group

Word Of The Day

application: Close attention; diligence: shows application to her work.

Boy was I surprised! Sent Big up to my office with a book this morning to work her way through it on her own prior to reading it with me…….one hour later she was still hard at work. I think she reckons that being assigned my office meant what she was doing was important or something. So I will count that a success, even if i don’t understand why “went” is a difficult word when others twice as long are a breeze. 🙁

I failed to report on Mouse v2.0. Departed this house 6th September 2005. RIP. Rest in pub, that is, I walked about half a mile up the hill and released him in the field opposite the pub, bet he knew his Green Cross Code well enough to have moved in behind the bar.

Also, I did My First Group today at Shirebrook Nature Reserve. It was fun,. Big dyed stuff with blackberries and Small ran around a lot.

  1. Lovely to see you and the children there today 🙂 Only sorry we couldn’t stay longer.

  2. v. impressed. Steve would have to be paid a huge amount of money before setting foot at a home ed group 😉 Sounds like you even enjoyed it!

  3. Yes, the group was pretty good. I get to do ballet tomorrow though. DOes Steve do ballet?

  4. A Lesser Known Fact about Steve is that he did actually do ballet. I think ballet would be just about within reach, as you can drop children and run, hopefully without having to talk to anyone. His problem is usually with hair-doing prior to these things though 😉

  5. Yes, the hair thing is something I am definitely not looking forward to. It will surprise you to know that I rarely wear my own hair up.
