A crafty Christmas party with NickJrCraftmas

I was a cohost today for a twitter party with NickJr and UKMumsTv. We Were sent a fab box of craft and games.

There were edible crafts like Christmas pudding cornflake cakes (so easy but so effective! )

And snowmen cupcakes

As well as that we made Ben hats (blue paper rolled into a cone, decorated with green holly leaves and red pom poms), decorated baubles and made Christmas cards.

We also had games (pin the nose on rudolph, dress up as a snowman) and we’ve still a couple of crafts left over (Christmas wreath to come).

My top tip for stress free crafting with multiple children is double sided sticky tape. Takes the mess out of sticking, and keeps the sticky where you want it 😉 I bulk buy from Poundland – one of these days I’ll do a whole post on education activities for a £1!

Our party seemed to take up most of the day one way or another but it was great fun. Kind of wish I’d got house elves to do the clearing up though.

So, what’s your top tip for stress free crafting?
