Nope, not me this time. Big wore the walk-o-meter for about an hour and a half and managed to rack up more than I did each of the first three days that I wore it! Aargh…so obviously what I need to get fitter is shorter legs 😉 It all turned out to be a really good learning opportunity as well – discussions of what numbers are bigger than other numbers, how many hundreds in a thousand, how many steps it takes to cross the room…just wish that I had more patience to repeat the answers to the questions as many times as she appears to want me to…

Anyway, other than that a very quiet day. Some time spent with colouring books, and Big did her ICT by entering a cbeebies competition 😉 I did spend half an hour on the phone to K, a local home eddor who is having a hard time with her LEA. I mod the local list, and as I’m an incurable buttinsky, I seem to have gotten involved in supporting a couple of ppl. Funny that.

Both the children seemed to be a bit off colour – nothing that you could actually say was wrong, no temperature or anything, just not quite happy. Neither of them ate particularly well either, which is unusual, as both my offspring have healthy appetites usually. Hopefully a good night’s sleep will sort them out. Better do, as I’m making a list of stuff we’ve got to do…and it isn’t a short list!

  1. Umm. I would,’t hold your breath – that sounds suspiciously like Dino’s symptoms for about 24 hours before the overnight D&V. Sorry. It does seem to be a 48 hour bug though and if it’s that you’re already half way!
I’m with you on the repetition thing. Why can’t they stop long enough to listen to my answers and remember them? I get part way throuh an explanation and the next question, usually on a different subject, is fired at me. Then part way through that answer, the first question comes up again!!
    Grr.
