for a quick blogpost to keep up the habit I’ve gotten into of blogging (at least once) every day.
It’s been a good day. At 9 o’clock this morning I couldn’t forecast I’d be ending the day saying that though. At 9 o’clock I was asking Small to stop screaming shut up.
Why wouldn’t you be quiet, I asked Big.
I couldn’t hear him.
Why couldn’t you hear him?
Because I had my fingers in my ears and was singing “la la la I can’t hear you.”
*headdesk* Not a good start to a hectic day.
Because today was Christmas party home ed style. It was our group nativity and show, and Big was due to narrate, as well as playing the bells. By 9.10 she was in her room sulking that she didn’t want to be involved at all, and it took til after 10 to gather everything together and get out of the house.
Thankfully after that start to the day, the only way was up.
Big pulled herself together and narrated beautifully.
Small stepped up and with only one rehearsal filled in as the third king.
And I really enjoyed the afternoon. Once the screaming had stopped 😉
So thank you very much to all concerned for making Christmas kick off in a wonderful way.
