Jan, Tesco is taking over the country according to Newsnight, and moving in on the rest of the world as well. It was not a pleasant programme, especially the Tesco very senior person they had on speaking newspeak!

They are about to do it to my town despite nobody bloody wanting it!
They just opened a huge 24-hour store here; it will probably mean the end of our (very good) Co-op 🙁
