{watching} The Young and Prodigious TS Spivet on netflix. Gentle story of a young boy travelling to find himself (and incidentally his family). It entertained everyone but Tigerboy (Smallest insisted that she didn’t enjoy it, but she sat completely enraptured throughout, so I’m claiming a win). Watch out for an excellent and understated performance by Helena Bonham Carter. A well received #familyfilmnight choice.
{plotting} a new design for the blog. I’ve barely drawn all week, but I have been taking pictures. I’m building up to something new, which is a bit nerve wracking, as I don’t really do change. Time to let go of that though.
{reading} Shift, Control, Delete see the blog tour post for full review and associated giveaway. Also A Pony in the Bedroom, again, click through to read the review.
{enjoying} moments of sunshine, among a really rather grey week. Tigerboy needs outdoor time, more than any of the others ever had, and I’m loving just pottering about there with him while he runs and kicks and shouts and runs some more.
{playing} App of the week is Toca Boca Kitchen 2. We were sent a pre release review version, and Smallest fell for it hard. Apparently feeding monsters is the best thing ever. So there you go – does it get any better than that in terms of a review?

Big has been out every day this week with friends, and has discovered windburn 😉 Small attempted a run with her today, he’s going to be building up to the next one I think. Smallest has been working on her writing again. She sounded out her little brother’s name, and also rabbit and April. Oddly she misses out most vowels when she writes them, but says them if she works it out out loud. Tigerboy also did a bit of writing, copying out his name.
And me? I’m a tiny bit cross that I haven’t done any drawing this week, but I have read two books. Somewhere there is a happy medium. I shall continue attempting to hunt it down.
