Quick fixes: down and dirty blogging how-tos at Blogfest 13.

BFbadge_speaking_2013

Yes, I’m going to Blogfest 13.

More than just going in fact, I’m on the panel mentioned above. As well as being available in the blog clinic again, to solve your technical blogging woes. I bring 10 years of experience in blogging, 9 of it on wordpress, as well as a background as a programmer. Down and dirty? You betcha.

Yes, I can get stuck into blogger if you really want me to. Though most of my work is on wordpress these days, funnily enough, I still keep my hand in with blogger, not least when I’m writing tech articles for Mumsnet Bloggers’ Network. (Haven’t read them? Tut tut. Pop over here, click on the blog clinic link under the picture, and have an explore. And if you want more tech articles, do have a look at my other blog, Technology Solved. )

Am I looking forward to it? Absolutely. I’m on a panel with Mammasaurus and RedTedArt as well as getting the chance to go one on one with a whole variety of people in the blog clinic. Last year I was nervous, afraid that I’d have no one on my booking board. As it was, I was fully booked and didn’t stop throughout and it was such a rush! Ten minute to have a problem explained and then do my best to solve it. I *love* problem solving, and it was so much fun, I can’t begin to tell you. The time just flew by. I’m really looking forward to doing it again.

So, have you got your tickets yet? If you haven’t, you might want to keep an eye on Mumsnetbloggers on twitter and facebook, as I hear there might be a giveaway or two this week…

see you there!

  1. How exciting Jax, you’ll be brilliant at BlogFest – especially in that Mammasaurus and RedTedArt sandwich. Wish I was going, have a date clash otherwise I’d be there! Best of luck if we don’t catch up beforehand, not that you need it 🙂

  2. Looking forward to it!

  3. I look forward to hearing your contributions on the panel Jax! See you there.
