Although dd hasn’t managed another reading lesson yet she is suddenly fascinated by letters. She’s written her name several times, and has picked out letters in all sorts of places – although she didn’t choose the best time to notice the letters on my T shirt – ds was having a feed at the time!

Her writing is really improving, and so is her letter recognition – if only my patience could improve as fast we’d be getting on leaps and bounds. I keep telling myself that it’s the heat and the lack of sleep – I feel really out of it just now, but I’ve had a friend around all day which has really helped.

Wonder if dd would like a reading lesson tonight? Not sure as she looks really tired too….
