Hello all

This is the beginning of an experiment in more ways than one – I’ve never done a blogger, and I’ve not really done what you’d call home education either.

Still, dd is only 3 1/2 so I suppose all we’re doing is going along with her some more as we did when she started walking, talking and generally being…

I’m waffling. I’ll stop. 🙂

Besides, dd and dp have just returned from upstairs, and I think it’s probably time for her milk and story now!

  3. ALways one though, isn’t there.

  4. It must be very very surreal recalling this. How do you feel about it? Wow. We should frame our first posts as we evolve. Lovely.

    1. It’s a bit like looking back on something I wrote as a child tbh, it looks very immature! Blogs were different creatures 8 years ago 🙂

  5. Blimey…you have been blogging for AGES! You are the bloggy matriarch! Lovely first post missis, how nice to chart your home ed experience!

    1. Thanks, Chris. If I have one regret it’s that I didn’t take and share more pictures.

  6. Following on from our Twitter conversation this evening, I love this first post because it reads like a diary. Rather than immature, I love the ‘beginning-ness’ of it. A follow-up of where you are today would be awesome.

    1. I think I might just do something like that, thanks for the prompt.

  7. Wow, I’d never heard of blogs until about 2010. Much respect Jax. So funny looking back to how you felt in the beginning isn’t it.
