A resolution free zone

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve started fresh, made big changes, promised I’d be different. I don’t think I’ve ever lasted much more than a week.

So no resolutions.

No big changes. No more of a fresh start than the change of a number in a date.

I am going to try a little harder with a few things. Like keeping track of my crochet projects, the books I read and the films I watch.

So tonight we’re watching Mamma Mia. A couple days ago me and the big kids went to see Aquaman. (Jason Momoa, lots of CGI and not quite as much plot as there is film. Not surprising given how much film there is.)

I’m reading Distortion, the second Phobos novel by Victor Dixen. There’s a book crying out to be a film, it would be fab.

And I’m stash busting. I’ve turned a ball of cotton into washable wipes and a soap saver bag. Next up some wrist warmers if the lovely fluffy ball I’ve found is big enough.

One new tradition started – I won a beautiful signed copy of I am the seed that grew the tree from Okido magazine on Facebook. So tonight we read the first day’s poem. Will try to do that regularly, if not daily ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Oh my gosh, the Phobos books would be amazing on screen, I think a mini-series would be excellent.
Reading a poem daily (ish) sounds lovely ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Thanks Cora, I reckon Netflix could do a great job with it, it would be brilliant.
