Prime Minister Gordon Brown has said recent scandals to have hit the government, such as data loss and proxy donations, will be “quickly forgotten”.
He pledged to concentrate in the New Year on long-term goals and issues that really mattered to people such as housing, health and education.
What he means is they are going to try to spin them away. What I think is that they should not be forgotten – this government has demonstrated stunning incompetence and disregard for our rights and the laws they wrote, and I don’t think we should let those issues fade into the background. Yes, housing, health and education are extremely important, and I don’t think we should let them forget that we aren’t impressed with their handling of those issues either.
At least it’s getting to the point where they have noone to blame but themselves 😕
