Starting day two of our Tudor adventure at Kentwell Hall this morning with a healthy breakfast of Petits Filous pouches. The only real difficulty during the day reenacting with children is they don’t tend to like pottage (personally I love it, what’s not to like about a healthy stew made of roots and wurts?) so being able to stock them up with something healthy before we start is great.
The pouches contain the Petits Filous yogurt my children know and love:
“Like our yogurt at home, only yummier” said Smallest.
With calcium and vitamin D and easy to pack and carry for a picnic (no spoons required! ) how can you go wrong? Supplemented with chocolate brioche (another camping staple for us! ) the children have full tummies and happy (but not yogurty) faces.
And now to get kirtled up for a long day in the Great Barn – anyone out there coming to meet the Tudors today?
Amazing! Mine love Petit Filous too. We haven’t camped yet this year, would have loved to come along on Friday but a bit too much for us at the moment. I think we’ll be sticking closer to home this year. Looks fun though, maybe next time.
That’s a shame, hope things smooth out for you soon
